Profile

I am a conscientious and dedicated graduate, with an upper second class honours degree in Computer science, who enjoys the pressure and fast pace that the web demands. I possess an extensive range of computer skills, including over four years of website development experience comprising of over two years in the commercial environment.

Relevant Skills

  • W3schools HTML certified (showing fundamental knowledge of web development using HTML, XHTML, and CSS)
  • Excellent web development skills with the use of hand-coding HTML/XHTML and CSS, with a good knowledge in JavaScript for simple, static web pages and PHP, JSP and SQL for dynamic pages
  • Extensive knowledge of W3 standards including XHTML 1.0, CSS1.0/CSS2.0 and DDA/WCAG
  • Good graphic design and manipulation skills, with specific experience in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Fireworks

  • Enjoy activities such as yoga, canoeing, swimming, cycling, tennis and badminton
  • Completed 1 and 2 star tests at the Waveney Valley Canoe Club
  • Enjoy wildlife and nature photography in my spare time. In addition I draw and paint to relax
  • Interested in aeroplanes and have had the opportunity to experience gliding and flying in a light aircraft on a few occasions
