Photography
I've always enjoyed taking photos, especially of animals. I often had the problem of taking way too many photos, so I avoided taking my camera out as it was costing too much in film and processing. The digital revolution has solved that problem, I can take hundreds of photos and process them on my computer so only the ones I really love get printed.
My rekindled interest in photography when I borrowed my partners (Russell) camera (Canon Powershot S2 IS) a few times and got some amazing photographs of some ladybirds and bees. With ever growing camera envy I decided to get the Canon EOS 350D as it would give me a camera that would last and would be expandable as my needs change.

Over the last couple of years I have managed to build up a small collection of kit. More recently I upgraded from my kit lens to the Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM, although I lost some of the wide angle end of my range but improvement in quality was more than worth it. I no longer have to worry about fringing or soft focus. I would like to upgrade my Tamron lens as it gets soft when focusing at infinity, but it can take some fantastic photos and the canon lens I would like to replace it with is rather expensive. However my lens collection will be growing as I am adding Canon's EF-S 60mm Macro lens too it, as I love to take close up photos of things as you may notice in my insects collection.
The other recent addition to my collection is the Kata R-102, now I have got it I would say it was a bit of overkill at the moment as its actually quite big, but it is very comfy so should be much better than the Crumpler when I got out with my camera for the whole day. I would certainly recommend their bags to anyone, as they are so well designed and built.
